Hello!
According to estimates by the folk at Yahoo! (and really, would they make this stuff up?) mankind took some 880 billion photos in 2014. Here at Surbiton Photo Circle we are doing our very best to keep this figure topped up. Whether it’s shots of winsome toddlers and fluffy kittens or artful pictures of railway signal boxes bathed in golden light, we just love taking photographs! Take a look through our galleries and you’ll get a flavour of what we do. Our small but hugely talented group of snappers is constantly eyeing up the world, looking for great pictures. |
Like to join us? Then whether you have a £5000 Leica or a disposable cardboard camera, you’re invited to our next meeting. We get together on the second Monday of the month (apart from July and August when we break for summer) at Maple Works, 73 Maple Road, Surbiton from 8pm. There are no membership fees.
You won’t find men in 1970s safari jackets talking about f-stops or tedious committee meetings appointing tedious sub-committees, just a friendly group of like-minded people who enjoy nothing more than looking at each other's photos. With inspirational guest speakers, occasional photo shoots and outings to exhibitions, it’s no wonder Surbiton Photo Circle is Surbiton’s premiere photo group*. * actually, it's Surbiton’s only photo group. But you get the drift. |
